Developer Gearbox is best known for its influential first-person shooter series Borderlands, but failed to translate that success into the multiplayer arena. Apple updated its entire iWork suite this afternoon. Pages, Numbers, and Keynote for iOS were all updated to version 1.7 with improved compatibility with Microsoft Office and iWork. Each iOS app also got bug fixes and minor updates, as seen below. Additionally, available via software update and directly from Apple’s website, iWork for Mac has been updated to version 9.3. It mainly features support for the new iWork for iOS apps....

By far the best speech recognition on the Mac platform today is MacSpeech, which recently upgraded its speech recognition engine to use Nuance’s Dragon (the same engine used in the iPhone app). Their new application is fully able to integrate with Snow Leopard and works out of the box much better than the iPhone application. The accuracy becomes eerily good after spending a few minutes of teaching it to get used to your voice and way of speaking....

Season 1 of both Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia have been removed from the anime streaming site Crunchyroll. This marks the end of a relationship between Funimation and Crunchyroll that has been in place since Attack on Titan began streaming on both platforms in 2013. My Hero Academia initially released exclusively on Funimation’s service in 2016, but began releasing on Crunchyroll in 2017. The fallout between Funimation and Crunchyroll sparked the beginning of the end for the future of streaming options for subscribers....

On Bachelor in Paradise, Dean Unglert admitted to Caelynn Miller-Keyes that they won’t last after the show ends. The van-dwelling, hair-growing Unglert had intentions of improving his image from his last appearance in Paradise, but his most recent conversation with Miller-Keyes did him no favors. Unglert has been called the Blake Horstmann from two seasons ago on Bachelor in Paradise.
