Over the next couple of years, there will be plenty of Marvel content for fans to pour over. Across TV and movies, the company will be bringing a number of new characters to life and continuing the adventures of its core heroes. All of this work—at least on the film side—will culminate a little over a year from now in next summer’s Avengers: Infinity War. While the details of the project remain tightly locked down, we’ve at least heard that just about every superhero we’ve meet so far in the theaters will be showing up to battle Thanos and his minions.
While we await any official details or looks at the film, plenty of behind-the-scenes images and videos have been popping up now that filming is underway in Atlanta, New York, and Scotland. This week alone, we’ve seen that both Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen are involved in the big battle scene in Edinburgh. Their characters Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch will be joining Vision and Black Widow, who we previously learned would feature in whatever chaos is coming to Scotland. Now, we’ve got another look at that scene, and things don’t look good for Vision.
Vimeo user S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent (h/t MCU Exchange) posted a video, which you can watch above, that collects a number of aerial set photos. They overlook a scene involving Vision being yanked back by a rig. This likely takes place during the fight we saw Vision in a few weeks ago, and he appears to be getting quite the beating.
It’s already been speculated that members of Thanos’ Black Order will be down on the ground causing trouble for our Avengers. It is likely them that Vision and his friends are fighting, as few individuals have the power to smack around the android with such ease. With filming out in the open like this, we can likely expect a lot more early looks at the action of the movie in the weeks to come.
Meanwhile, it’s not just the actors who are on set. The Russo Brothers are hard at work in the studio, where only official photos can make there way out to the world. And while we’ve yet to see anything from the camera’s perspective, naturally, we’ve been given plenty of glimpses of the crew. Earlier today, Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi dropped by to give the Russos and fans a hard time. No word on whether he was just visiting or consulting, but we’re inclined to believe the latter. As things move along, we should get some more official information on Avengers: Infinity War soon, so stay tuned.
