Now that Avengers: Endgame has finally been released and its all-spoiler-knowing screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have a huge weight lifted off their shoulders, they’ve been revealing a lot of scenes that were in their earlier drafts of the script. It’s been interesting to consider the moments that almost made it into the movie and determine whether or not they would’ve improved or hurt the Marvel epic we’ve been waiting 11 years to see....

Disney’s acquisition of Fox has sparked a slew of exciting ideas for the Russo Brothers, including bringing Doctor Doom and Kraven into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Mouse House first expressed interest in buying Fox back in 2017, and officially closed the deal in March of this year. Now, Disney has access to a variety of Fox and 21st Century Fox properties, but none more important than the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises....

The creators of a new Belgian political comedy show, 16, have announced that it was exclusively filmed with iPhones. The six-part series is being shown online. Sadly, from the trailer, you can tell. That may, though, reflect what appears to be a relatively low-budget production. There have of course been some much more impressive movies and ads shot on iPhone … Tangerine was a hit at last year’s Sundance Film Festival, with creator Sean Baker insisting that the choice of the iPhone wasn’t just a marketing gimmick....

While WWDC won’t be for another 6 months at the very least, Apple has today updated its WWDC app with a handful of new features such as supporting the new iPad Pro display sizes. Today’s update brings the app to version 7.1 and is available as a free update on the App Store. It adds a new today widget, as well as 3D Touch actions on the Home screen. You’ll also now have a Continue Watching collection that keeps an ongoing list of videos you’ve been viewing, and videos that you may want to watch later....

8/14 Update: As expected, Apple Watch is now available from Best Buy online and in select retail stores. Even before Apple shakes up the lineup with new bands and software next month, the Apple Watch is continuing its initial launch around the world. Israel, which doesn’t have an Apple Retail Store presence and instead relies on authorized resellers, is will be selling the Apple Watch locally for the first time next week. iDigital, an authorized reseller owned by iCon Group in Israel, is expected to carry the Apple Watch Sport as well as select stainless steel models from 1,999 NIS, or about $430 USD without tax, starting Thursday, February 11th....

Arrow executive producer Beth Schwartz admits wrapping up the series after eight seasons was a challenge, but feels confident the hard work will result in a perfect ending. The series has consistently delivered for the CW network since its debut, from launching an entire universe (or Arrowverse) of shows, to introducing viewers to an impressive array of heroes and villains from the pages of the DC comic book universe. Arrow also birthed a new legion of Green Arrow fans, an impressive feat for a character first introduced in the pages of the long-forgotten More Fun Comics in 1941....
