Apple’s new iMac Pro is now available to order with a December 27th arrival date for the first deliveries. Along with the new machine, Apple is also updating its flagship software including Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro X. While we are seeing some major updates to Apple’s professional video editing suite, Logic Pro X is also getting iMac Pro support and other improvements today. Apple has now optimized Logic Pro X to support up to 36 cores along with a series of stability and performance enhancements....

Following yesterday’s challenge in honor of Veterans Day, Apple has already set its next Apple Watch Activity Challenge. As first spotted by Kyle Seth Gray on Twitter, Apple is holding an Activity Challenge for Thanksgiving later this month. You can earn this award by completing any walk, run, or wheelchair workout of at least 5K – or 3.1 miles – in distance. If you complete the challenge, Apple will reward you with exclusive badges in the Activity app, as well as stickers for use in Messages and FaceTime....

Apple has confirmed on its website that it will live stream its October event at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, which it sent out invites to press for earlier today. You can add the event to your calendar so you don’t forget from the page, which kicks off at 10 AM EDT. Note the timezone … The Academy of Music is a new venue for Apple events, but unlike the March event which was held at a school, it will be streamed....

Apple’s augmented reality focus has so far been on iPhones and iPads, but AR on MacBooks may also be in the company’s sights. A new patent granted today could be useful for both conventional games and AR applications. The patent for virtual positioning of audio sources builds on one granted last month… Apple’s previous patent, on a method of virtually positioning people in a room when listening through headphones, focused on a business application – but we noted at the time that AR seemed another obvious use....

The CW’s Arrow not only gave Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) a major place in media once more but also gave birth to a larger DC franchise known as the Arrowverse. The final season focused primarily on setting up the recent Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover which had Oliver give his life to, literally, give birth to a new universe. With Amell’s iteration of the character exiting the franchise that consists of more than five shows, Arrow leaves behind a legacy that consists of 170 episodes to consume....

The Arrowverse has grown into a very impressive superhero franchise in its own right. What started out as Arrow soon welcomed The Flash, adopted Supergirl from CBS and added the Legends of Tomorrow and Constantine to its mix. There were even additions of the CW Seed animated character Vixen in a live-action cameo. Along the way, there have been crossover events between the shows and some impressive comic book stories brought to life....

Asus launched their latest flagships of the year, i.e. the Asus Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro. Both the phones are pretty impressive when it comes to the specs of devices. Asus’s approach to handling the camera modules on their phones has been truly innovative. Last year with the Asus Zenfone 6 or Asus 6z, the company implemented a flip camera setup where the rear camera of the device, when in time of need, can be flipped and used as the front camera as well....

Avengers: Endgame could’ve included the original 2014 Nebula with hair based on new concept art for the film. Introduced as a side-villain to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Karen Gillan has since seen her role as Nebula expand. She became an unlikely hero in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but was a fully-fledged hero by the time Avengers: Endgame reached its conclusion. However, this heroic version of Nebula is not the only one who was included in the 22nd MCU movie....

Official tie-in merchandise for Avengers: Endgame may reveal Iron Man’s new weapon. The fourth Avengers movie is a subject of intense secrecy right now, with Kevin Feige even suggesting that the trailers could all draw from the first 15-20 minutes of the film in order to keep the main plot secret. In the absence of firm information, fans have been forced to look to tie-in merchandise and promotional artwork for clues....

When it comes to DC superheroes, some of them are better at relationships with other heroes while some prefer to stand alone. Bruce Wayne aka Batman is one of those lone wolves who really doesn’t trust his fellow heroes all that much and even has a contingency plan prepared against the remaining Justice League members in case they went rogue and had to be stopped. Whether this makes Batman paranoid or just cautious could definitely be up for debate....

The popular BBC iPlayer service has finally made its way to the iPad, and is now available for free on the UK iTunes App Store. BBC iPlayer allows you to watch live TV from the BBC television station in addition to live radio broadcasts from the network. You can even select your “favorite” programs and these episodes will be “ready and waiting for you to watch.” We assume this means you will get an alert when a new episode is about to air, or it will be somehow saved for you to watch....

Arrow, during its run, introduced a vast number of DC Comics characters, from bigger ones to some of the more obscure ones that would become big players in the Arrowverse. One of them was Rene Ramirez a.k.a. Wild Dog. He was played by Rick Gonzalez, who joined the show in the fifth season and became a series regular for the following three seasons. The character, who debuted in the comics back in 1987, got reimagined for Arrow for his live-action debut....
