Yesterday’s report that we may see Apple Watch blood glucose monitoring when the Series 7 is released this year has generated both excitement and skepticism. Excitement because it could provide a far easier method of monitoring blood sugar levels than current devices, which require a pin-prick blood sample. Skepticism because non-invasive measurement has been a goal for a great many years, with very limited success to date. The closest we’ve got so far is a rice-grain sized sensor embedded into the skin that can then be read without any further puncturing of the skin…...

Baldur’s Gate 3 will be coming to Steam Early Access later this year, according to Wizards of the Coast’s parent company, Hasbro. Earlier this month, Google leaked a 2020 release date for Baldur’s Gate 3. Developer Larian Studios said that the announcement was a mistake, but didn’t explicitly rule out a 2020 launch for the game. Larian, the studio behind the popular Divinity: Original Sin series, began teasing its new project last year before it officially revealed Baldur’s Gate 3 as part of a Google Stadia presentation in June....

The Battlestar Galactica coming to NBC’s new streaming service, Peacock, will reportedly take place in the same universe as Syfy’s reboot of the classic sci-fi series. The original Battlestar Galatica show ran on television from 1978 through 1979 when it was canceled by ABC. In 2004, Syfy rebooted the series and it ran for four seasons until 2009. This version of Battlestar Galactica also included some webisodes that take place between seasons, two TV movies (Razer and The Plan), a web series which also aired on TV as a two hour movie (Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome), and Caprica, a prequel spinoff series that didn’t make it very far....
