The world simply can’t escape the fad of superheroes. Whether it’s Marvel or DC, film or television, one form or other of our most beloved comic-book stars are bound to make a jump to the screen. And while the movies have undeniably change the entire paradigm of how we perceive the universes, TV shows also did pretty well. A great example of this is Arrow, one of the first super-hero series to bless our screens in recent times....

As always, the smart doorbell can send alerts to your iPhone when someone rings the bell, or use motion sensitive triggers to fire off alerts. The announcement today means it is possible to go back through the last day of footage from the camera, almost like adding a mini CCTV system to your front door....
Well, that’s according to an executive from one of Apple’s Australian networks, who told local publication ChannelNews: “We know what is coming. We have seen the new device and it will be available on our network as soon as it is launched in the USA.” Oh, but it gets better. The exec reveals: “By Christmas, this phone will be capable of 42Mbps, making it faster than a lot of broadband offerings and the fastest iPhone on any network in the world....
Over the next couple of years, there will be plenty of Marvel content for fans to pour over. Across TV and movies, the company will be bringing a number of new characters to life and continuing the adventures of its core heroes. All of this work—at least on the film side—will culminate a little over a year from now in next summer’s Avengers: Infinity War. While the details of the project remain tightly locked down, we’ve at least heard that just about every superhero we’ve meet so far in the theaters will be showing up to battle Thanos and his minions....

In 2016, Apple was ordered to pay 13 billion euros to Ireland as repayment for back taxes at a rate that the EU deemed was illegal. Both Apple and Ireland appealed the judgment. Four years on, the first round of legal battles have come to a conclusion today: the EU court rejected the ruling which essentially means Ireland and Apple won. However, the EU commission will almost certainly appeal. A final decision on a corporate judgment of this scale will take many, many, years to resolve....

AT&T just put up a lengthy response to the FaceTime controversy it started when it announced that only users of its new, more expensive Mobile Share Plans may use Apple’s feature. In short, AT&T says it is not bound by FCC Net Neutrality laws on FaceTime because it is a pre-installed App and can be disabled to the carrier’s liking. If FaceTime was a downloadable app, AT&T would be forced by FCC Net Neutrality laws to allow it to work properly....
