Safari updated Apple’s Safari 3.1.1 update is available now. It’s a security and stability patch that among other things fixes the vulnerability that was used to hack into a MacBook Pro at the CanSecWest security conference in late February. The upcoming Jurassic World short film Battle at Big Rock will introduce two new dinosaurs to the franchise, the Allosaurus and the Nasutoceratops. Neither dinosaur has ever appeared in any Jurassic Park or Jurassic World movie. The short film will be directed by Colin Trevorrow, the director who brought the franchise back into relevance with 2015’s Jurassic World. Jurassic World was the fourth installment in the series and the first since Jurassic Park III in 2001....

According to market research firm DisplaySearch, LG Display—the sole company currently making displays for the Apple Watch—brought in over $186 million during the first quarter of 2015, a number more than 90% of the overall market estimated to be worth a total of $240 million (via Business Korea). Earlier this month, Apple moved to gain control of iPhone 5.com from a domain squatter who used it as a forum full of ads. The company filed a dispute with the World Intellectual Property Organization, which now appears to have granted Apple’s request today. As The Next Web reported, the squatter relinquished control of the domain, and control now goes to brand protection agency Corporation Service Company, which Apple could be using to take control....

Cult of Mac today publicized a bug in iTunes Match that matches explicit tracks to clean versions. The issue resides in Apple’s iTunes Match software that is sometimes unable to distinguish clean versions of a track from explicit versions due to slight differences. The issue is causing trouble for some, but Apple is already working on a fix. A 9to5 reader emailed Apple Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services about the issue a couple of weeks ago and received a response from one of Eddy Cue’s engineers....
